Using things that already exist is a great way to keep things out of landfills and help reduce resource depletion.

It is great fun to create something that doesn’t cost a thing. Oh, maybe a few notions…maybe not.

The work of Ms. SpoolTeacher will represent items that were created spontaneously, from fabrics that have been collected over time, old shirts that weren’t being used anymore, or any number of pieces of fabric goods that make their way to the resource pile. It keeps getting bigger. It never seems to run out.

That’s a good thing.
